We are a group of Jews (and non Jewish allies) on Long Island who seek to create community among like minded people and organize against genocide.
We are hosting an antizionist Shabbat service on Long Island with food and refreshments afterwards.

Who is this space for? We welcome any antizionists, both Jewish and non Jewish alike.
Food! Is food provided? Is it a potluck? We will be getting food from Taheni and dessert from a local small business. The meal will include food that is gluten free (rice based), vegan, and vegetarian.
Will there be alcohol there? Yes
Are children welcome? Yes
Will close captioning be enabled? Yes
Accessibility: Masks required, Negative COVID test required, Single Stall Bathrooms, Will there be amplified sound like mics or other instruments
$$: We recommend folks pay $20 per person for the food (more info provided in the RSVP form) but we will not turn anyone away for lack of funds. We would also appreciate if anyone who can't make it would pay it forward so everyone who attends in person can have something to eat regardless of ability to pay. All leftover money will be split between the host organization and Eileen's Free Bodega (eileensfreebodega.org).
What language or languages will be used during this event?: Mostly English with some Hebrew during the service
Is there unmasked eating? If so, is this separate from the main space or in the same space? There is unmasked eating and it will be in the same space as the main space
COVID notes:
• Take a rapid COVID test the day of and only come if it's negative
• Provide a photo of your negative test at the door
• Not to come if 1) you are under the weather at all regardless of COVID test results, 2) someone in your household has COVID or has had it in the past 10 days, and 3) you have tested positive for COVID in the past 10 days
• Wear a mask for the non eating portions of the event
We will have a limited number of COVID tests at the door for those that are unable to obtain a COVID test themselves.
We take these precautions so we can all continue with our holiday festivities for the rest of the season.
