In Person in NYC @ Judson Memorial Church and Virtually on Zoom
Tu B’Av, known to some as “Jewish Valentine’s Day”, is a Jewish holiday centering love, community, and abundance. Through a queer, Jewish, anti-z10nist, SWer (s*x worker) lens, we will explore the concept of community care as a divine call to liberate ourselves and each other from all systems that destroy human life. Join us at Judson Memorial Church on August 18th at 5pm for a live podcast session, love note writing, political art build, and more!
This event is organized by Making Mensches, Ayelet Cartolina, and Leilah Feinstein.
💌 Podcast panel: Making Mensches, Ayelet Cartolina, & Leilah Feinstein discuss SWers in Jewish text, anti-zionism and queer feminism in Jewish teachings, and politicized identity as a divine call to liberatory action.
💌 Anti-Zionist Love Note Writing Station
💌 Political Art Build for Leilah's music video
