This is the first of our collaborative Full Moon Poetry Series and we are so excited it aligns with the Snow/Bone/Hungry Moon and Tu b’Shvat.
Few notes:
You are welcome to read your poem, or someone else’s poem!
Poems should fall under at least one of these themes: Earthy/land based, full moon energy, kinship, liberation, indigeneity, diaspora, kabbalistic, community care.
Each poem reading should be no more than 5 minutes.
If you have a poem you’d like to share but would prefer one of the hosts read it, we are happy to do so! Just select the corresponding RSVP option and we will reach out to you.
This event is a fundraiser for the Sameer Project which is a donations based aid initiative, led by Palestinians in the diaspora, working to supply emergency shelter and aid to displaced families in Gaza. Please RSVP to donate! We encourage you to donate if you plan to attend, as a poet or audience member, but no one is turned away for lack of funds.
